I've been tagged by my cousin Ashley to post the 6th picture in the 6th file of my photos. I think I did this right...It was taken in June of 2006 on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Mat and I were celebrating our first anniversary.

Columbus Day

And thanks to him I get to enjoy the day off!
Today has been a (much needed) relaxing day of movies, lunch with a friend, and spending way too much time on the computer. I have spent a lot of time working on a few different headers, and today I finally got one to work with my blog. I used this digital scrapbooking website to make my header. It was so much fun!

New Header
**I obviously figured it out! There was one little button in the Edit HTML section that I needed to click and my header showed up...finally!
I made a new header, but for some reason it isn't showing up on my blog. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

These are a few of my favorite things...
I saw someone else list 25 things that make them happy on their blog, and it got me thinking about some of my favorite things.
1. my charming husband (Mat loves it when I call him charming!)
2. spending time with my family and friends
3. scrapbooking
4. having a clean house
5. having an empty laundry hamper
6. watching baseball
7. singing old church hymns
8. chick flicks
9. relaxing Saturdays with no plans
10. Autumn Harvest Yankee candles
11. warm chocolate chip cookies
12. Decorating for the holidays (fall & Christmas)
13. clean sheets
14. eating out
15. a warm fire on a cold day (which doesn't happen often in TX!)
16. traveling
17. pumpkin bread (I have some in the oven right now)
18. the way my house smells when I'm cooking pumpkin bread
19. fresh flowers of any kind
20. fresh fruit
21. shopping for new shoes
22. good books
23. rainy days (but only when I can stay at home and be lazy)
24. flying on airplanes and staying in hotels (yes, this is different from traveling)

New Name for the Blog
Mat, Jeff, and Tim have been trying to find more interesting names for our blogs for the last few months. (I think Mindi and Megan have both done just fine in finding creative names for their blogs. I knew mine needed some help!) A few suggestions for the Tipps included: Tipps and Salsa, At Your FingerTIPPS, and Tipps and Dip.
The other day, Mat and I got to church and Jeff told us he had created a list of names for us. (I think it's funny that Jeff spent time making a list of names for OUR blog. I also think it's funny that Mat did the same thing for the Tipps!) Unfortunately, Jeff left his list at home. He did, however, remember his favorite: A Time to Kelso.
So there it is...a new name for our blog.
