Electronics

Levi loves all things electronic!  For Christmas, he got a new laptop.  I was able to hook it up to our computer and download specific things for him.  He has three "emails" from various family members, and the computer even sings a song about how to spell his name.  He'll say, "Mommy, I need to check my email!"

He also loves talking on all of his phones.  This picture of him with his feet propped up makes me laugh!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Levi is really in to all things transportation right now- especially trains- but he doesn't limit himself to just trains.  He's made "trains" out of pillows,

cars,
magnetic letters,
and his "treasures."
When I found his stuffed animals arranged like this he said, "Mommy, take my picture!"
What a cute kid!

Let It Be

After The Beatles, Levi sang "I am a Sheep" with us- it brought tears to my eyes.  I can't think of a better way to end our day!

Enjoying his new ride

Levi's big gift from Santa was a Lightning McQueen riding toy.  He absolutely loves it!  Since we've had such great weather over the last few weeks Levi has enjoyed riding around outside.

He loves his Thomas sunglasses  :)

Cousins

After Cami's birthday party, we all went back to the Koteras' house for some more birthday celebrating and dinner.  It was a beautiful day, and the kids had a great time playing outside.  Here are some of my favorite pics:

Happy Birthday, Cami!

A few weekends ago we were able to go and celebrate Cami's (Levi's cousin) third birthday!  Her party was at a fun bounce house.  Levi wasn't too sure what to think of it all at first, but he quickly warmed up and enjoyed every minute!

Levi was just a little bit too small for most of the activities, so Mat was kind enough to follow him around and give him a boost whenever he needed it.

Eventually, Levi was able to navigate one of the slides all by himself.  Mat was so proud (and relieved to be able to sit one of them out!)
I realize these pictures are focused on the net, but I couldn't pass up Mat's acrobatics.  I think he had fun too!

 Tired boys...

After some time bouncing, the kids had pizza and cake.  By the time we got to the car, Levi was begging for his bed!

Christmas

My break from school was a whirlwind, and we loved every minute of it!  Levi and I spent a lot of time being lazy and hanging out at the house during the week.  We watched a lot of Christmas movies, colored on his easel he got for his birthday, and built lots of Lego towers.  Levi is also really into reading books right now.  I have been collecting Christmas books for Levi over the last few years, and I was so excited to have time to sit down and enjoy our basket of books with him!

We also spent a lot of time traveling.  We spent Christmas weekend with my mom's extended family at my aunt's new house.  It is out in the country and was a perfect place for us to enjoy some time relaxing with each other.  Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we weren't able to enjoy all of the land and the hay ride she had planned, but we had a great time!

 The maze of cars!
He was thrilled to be taking a picture with Mommy!

Levi was really excited to see what Santa brought him.  One of my favorite memories of Christmas was Christmas night when Levi was enjoying his Lightning McQueen tricycle from Santa.  He rode it in loops around the house, and every single time, he'd ride up to my dad, look up and say, "Watcha doin Pops?"  My dad would answer, and Levi would say, "Well, I'm off to find the bunny!"  (The shadow bunny my mom had showed him earlier with his new flashlight).  As he started to pull away, he'd push the music button to "start" his car.  We felt like we were watching Groundhog Day and all got a kick out of watching him enjoy his new toy.

The following weekend (New Years) we headed to my sister's house.  When we got to Blair's house, Levi walked in and said "Let's open presents!"  I'm afraid that wherever we go now, he'll expect some presents.  :)  We enjoyed another lazy weekend there with my immediate family.  Kyle worked during the day but was able to come home early to celebrate our family Christmas.  Levi enjoyed helping others open their presents more than he enjoyed his own!
Snuggled up with Pops watching Mickey Mouse
Pops gave Levi a new hat and a GIANT horn!
Playing inside his new tent

This was the best we could do- I'm sure one day we'll have a picture in front of the Christmas tree where we're all smiling at the camera!

My break came to an end much too quickly- it was hard to get up and go back to work!  We couldn't figure out way to get all of the Kelsos in town at the same time to celebrate during December, so we have a celebration planned with them in a few weeks.  We feel blessed to have so much family to help us celebrate and enjoy this time of year.
