Dear Levi,
You've been up to a lot this month! You went to your first wedding this month, and you looked so cute in your little suit. We had trouble finding black dress shoes that fit your chubby little feet. When we did find some, I had a hard time justifying buying them for you to wear once, so we bought you a pair of black and blue converse tennis shoes to wear. They were precious!

The biggest news from this month is the fact that you are walking more and more. The other night you walked from the back door all the way to the bar in the kitchen! You are getting more confident, more adventurous and FAST! We look up to see you walking across the living room and the next moment you are in the kitchen getting into the one cabinet that hasn't been baby proofed yet! Yikes!
During the wedding weekend, we thought maybe you were sick with a stomach bug, but when you went to the doctor, she said she could see 5 or 6 teething coming in. All of your stomach issues, runny nose and general grumpiness were related to teething. I don't blame you! If I had 6 teeth coming in at once I don't think I'd be very happy about it either. We're still waiting for those teeth to actually break through, but most of the time you are happier. On a side note- you love having your teeth brushed. I don't know how long that will last, but we'll take it!

I think you've also started saying your first few words. You say ma, da and no! No seems to be the clearest word you've said and it almost always seems to be associated with food. You said it to me the other night when you didn't want any more corn and to Mindi the other day when you were done with the green beans!
Some of your new favorite toys right now are your shape sorters, walker and rocking chair. When you see your chair, you back up to it, wait for help and then as soon as you sit down, you start rocking back and forth- you know exactly what to do! You also love your blocks. Typically, you sit and chew on them while Daddy builds. As soon as he gets a few blocks stacked up, you crawl over and knock it down. You make sure that every last block has fallen. Usually you smile and giggle while you knock down the blocks, but sometimes you look irritated- like knocking down towers is something you have to do.

The other day at the doctor you weighed about 23 pounds. You are still in size 3 diapers, and you're wearing 9-12 month clothes. You love to eat, and you prefer finger foods to baby foods now. You love your yogurt, baby pancakes and scrambled egg yolks! You still get 3 8 oz. bottles each day. I'm dreading the switch to a sippy cup... Partly because I can't seem to find one that doesn't leak (so frustrating!) and partly because you don't seem too interested in it. (And I love the cuddle time with you when you get your bottle)

I can't believe that we'll be celebrating your birthday in a few short weeks! We love you so much!
